Celebrating the Eternal at Chablé Yucatán

In the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula, where the air carries whispers of ancient stories and time slows beneath the canopy of the jungle, Chablé Yucatán invites you to experience the Day of the Dead like never before. From October 31 to November 2, 2025, this sacred sanctuary becomes a living tribute — a celebration of memory, presence, and the timeless beauty of Mexico’s most soulful tradition.

Here, life and death are not opposites but companions. The scent of copal, the glow of marigolds, and the soft flicker of candles weave together a dreamscape that exists only in this land.
This is not an event to watch — it’s an experience to feel, with your senses open and your spirit awake.

A journey through light, flavor, and spirit

It all begins Lights of the Ancestors, a candlelit ceremony by the cenote where reflections of fire dance on the water and souls seem to shimmer between worlds. Later, color and imagination come alive with Painted Catrinas, a joyful ritual of artistry and remembrance.

As twilight settles, the Altars of the Dead line the paths, each one a story made visible — corn, fire, paper, and flowers blending into symbols of connection and eternity.
And when night deepens, the Catrinas Parade sweeps through the gardens — elegant, radiant, and filled with the rhythm of celebration. This is Mexico at its most poetic: where art meets the divine.

Rituals that renew the soul

The Temazcal of Renewal, led by wise Mayan grandmothers, invites you to release and be reborn. Within the sacred steam, you’ll find clarity, balance, and gratitude.
Later, the traditional cooks — affectionately known as the Tías of Chablé — prepare the ceremonial Mucbipollo, a delicacy slow-cooked underground as an offering between worlds. Its aroma tells stories of the earth, the fire, and the hands that nurture life itself.

The art of celebrating the present

As dusk falls once more, the Hanal Pixán Procession lights the pathways in golden hues, guiding the spirits home in a moving tribute to love and remembrance.
And to conclude this journey, the “Celebration of life” Thematic Dinner, crafted by chef Luis Ronzón, invites you to rediscover Mexico through a four-course culinary narrative — where each flavor is an homage, and every bite feels eternal.

At Chablé Yucatán Day of the Dead is not simply observed — it’s lived. It’s a journey for those who seek meaning, beauty, and emotion in every moment. Here, in this sacred corner of Mexico, you’ll celebrate life as it’s meant to be celebrated: deeply, joyfully, and unlike anywhere else in the world.
