CEREMONIES

INFLUENCED BY AN ANCESTRAL SOUL

The entire Yucatán peninsula is steeped in ancient tradition. This vibrant living legacy of one of the most dazzling civilizations of pre-Columbian America is one of Mexico’s most influential indigenous centers. Threaded throughout our region’s history and modernity is the belief that all is connected. Nature informs daily life, rituals, art, gastronomy and oral legends. With this belief comes deep respect for the land itself, as exemplified by the association that ceremonial centers, temples and pyramids have with rivers, lagoons, hills, seas and cenotes.

RITUAL CEREMONIAL

IN TUNE WITH THE ELEMENTS

Earth, air, water, fire. When recognized within the body, our senses and subconscious attune to these elements of life, opening conduits to experience the present moment fully. Breath, movement and Mother Nature reveal their timeless connection as you feel a canopy of true consciousness calm you.

SPIRITUAL THERAPY

Healing rituals led by a Mayan elder include elements of Mexican traditional medicine to help you release any blocking energy and open yourself to greater peace and contentment.

EXPERIENCE TEMAZCAL, A RITUAL ROOTED IN LEGEND

A LEGENDARY RITUAL TO PURIFY THE MIND, BODY AND SOUL

Purify mind, body and soul with a session in the temazcal, or “steam house,” a traditional outdoor healing structure. Here, the temazcal is tucked behind the dunes in a leafy enclave ideal for focusing on and channeling your intentions. Through contact with the four elements – earth, fire, water and air – allow your physical, mental and spiritual selves to converge and connect with Mother Earth herself.
